Mr. Aminur Rahman has obtained B. A with Honours in Economics from Dhaka University. Subsequently he obtained MBA from Institute of Business Administration (IBA).He has also obtained LLB from National  University. He joined Taxation Cadre of Bangladesh Civil Service in 1983. During his tenure in Civil Service he joined courses in Harvard University, USA and IMF Institute in Singapore. He held many important posts in the Taxation Cadre. He served in the tax policy wing of the National Board of Revenue as First Secretary as well as Member. He was Member Secretary of Tax Reforms Project for four yearsHe retired as Member, National Board of Revenue  in 2011 He is also Consultant of IFC of World Bank and UNDP. He is presently Senior Director of ACNABIN – Chartered Accountants.He is also guest Faculty in  Dhaka University, Institute of Public Finance & BCS (Taxation) Academy.
