FBCCI Annual General Meeting 2019-2020 held on December 26, 2021 at Capital’s Officers Club.

The FBCCI President Mr. Md. Jashim Uddin chaired the meeting and called for extension of relaxation of loan classification policy till June, 2022.
He informed the general body members that, FBCCI has already written to Bangladesh Bank to extend the loan repayment moratorium till June 30, 2022 and urged Bangladesh Bank to announce the extension as soon as possible.

He also urged the National Board of Revenue not to finalize the new income tax law in a hurry. As an income tax law is currently in force, the new law should be enacted in consultation with all stakeholders, including the FBCCI.

Due to corona epidemic, the annual general meeting of 2019-2020 could not be held on time. That meeting was held on Sunday.

Senior Vice President Mr. Mostofa Azad Chowdhury Babu, Vice Presidents Mr. M A Momen, Mr. Md. Aminul Haque Shamim, Mr. Md. Amin Helaly, Mr. Salahuddin Alamgir, Mr. Md. Habib Ullah Dawn and Mr. M.A. Razzak Khan along with other directors and general body members were present.

The 2019-2020 Annual Report and Audit Report was unanimously approved at the meeting.
Later an Extra-Ordinary General Meeting was held.
