FBCCI inaugurated Mujib Corner, Directors’ Lounge, and Covid awareness Song.
Dr. Hasan Mahmud MP, Hon’ble Minister of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting inaugurated the Mujib Corner and Directors’ Lounge on Saturday at FBCCI Icon.
Chairing the Inauguration ceremony, FBCCI President Mr. Md. Jashim Uddin said that the business community has always been performing as an ally of the government to achieve the development goals.
FBCCI Chief urged the government to reform the education system to address the shortage of skilled manpower required by the industry.
FBCCI’s Mujib Corner is designed with rare still photographs of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and a number of books on his biography, political struggle, and development philosophy. A lounge for FBCCI directors has also been set up next to Mujib Corner.
Echoing to the demand made by the Chamber presidents in a meeting held earlier on January 22, 2022, Mr. Mostofa Azad Chowdhury Babu urged Govt. to give the FBCCI President the same status as the Minister of State.
FBCCI Vice-President Mr. Md. Habib Ullah Dawn said that the present committee deserves a thank for establishing the long-awaited Directors lounge at FBCCI.
Former Senior Vice President of FBCCI Mohammad Ali and former Vice President Abu Alam Chowdhury also spoke at the event.
Along with the FBCCI Vice President Md. Amin Helaly and MA Razzak Khan Raj and others directors, famous music composer, and singer Mr. Haider Hussain were also present at the ceremony.
Mohammad Mahfuzul Hoque conducted the ceremony.
