The First Meeting of the FBCCI Standing Committee on Automobile Manufacturers and Assemblers was held at FBCCI Icon on February 2, 2022 (Wednesday).
The FBCCI President Mr. Md. Jashim Uddin, as chief guest, attended the meeting.
Complementing the country’s economic growth the FBCCI Chief said that Bangladesh is now gradually lessening its dependency on import while strengthening the local manufacturing capacity, which enables the country to expand its export base in addition to meeting domestic demand. He emphasized the country’s Branding for which foreign investors would be concerned about growing Bangladesh and attracted to invest more in this sector.
Md. Habib Ullah Dawn, Director in charge of the Standing Committee called for ensuring a competitive market of quality products besides solving the problems related to policies regarding Automobile Industries.
The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the committee and Chairman of Runner Group, Mr. Hafizur Rahman Khan.
