Maldives High Commissioner Aishath Shan Shakir pays courtesy call on FBCCI President

Aishath Shan Shakir, the Maldives High Commissioner to Bangladesh on Sunday (October 18th), paid a courtesy call at the newly renovated FBCCI Icon 60 Motijheel in the capital, with FBCCI (Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries) President Sheikh Fazle Fahim.
During the visit, the FBCCI President appraised the High Commissioner of Maldives on FBCCI Impact 4.0, entailing FBCCI ADR Center, Tech Center, Skill Lab, FBCCI Institute, FBCCI University, Economic Applied Research Center, Multipurpose Workshop / Seminar / Skills Auditorium, and the federation’s capacity enhancements with globally top-rated organizations and roadmap to LDC and SDG 2030.
During the visit, the FBCCI President and the Maldives High Commissioner, discussed the apex trade body’s noteworthy economic and social measures during Covid19. In addition, they discussed Bilateral Value Chain Initiatives™ (BVCI ™) in both tourism and blue economy.

বাংলাদেশে নিযুক্ত মালদ্বীপের হাই কমিশনার আইশাথ শান শাকির রবিবার (১৮ অক্টোবর) রাজধানীর মতিঝিল ৬০ এ নতুনভাবে সংস্কারকৃত এফবিসিসিআই আইকনে, এফবিসিসিআই (ফেডারেশন অব বাংলাদেশ চেম্বার অব কমার্স অ্যান্ড ইন্ডাস্ট্রিজ)-এর সভাপতি শেখ ফজলে ফাহিমের সাথে সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎ করেন।
এসময় এফবিসিসিআই সভাপতি মালদ্বীপের হাইকমিশনারকে এফবিসিসিআই ইমপ্যাক্ট ৪.০ সম্পর্কে অবহিত করেন, যার মধ্যে আছে এফবিসিসিআই এডিআর সেন্টার, টেক সেন্টার, স্কিল ল্যাব, এফবিসিসিআই ইনস্টিটিউট, এফবিসিসিআই ইউনিভার্সিটি, ইকোনমিক অ্যান্ড অ্যাপ্লায়েড রিসার্চ সেন্টার, মাল্টিপারপাস ওয়ার্কশপ/সেমিনার/স্কিলস অডিটোরিয়াম ও বিশ্বের শীর্ষস্থানীয় প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলোর সাথে তাল মিলিয়ে ফেডারেশনের সক্ষমতা বৃদ্ধি এবং এলডিসি ও এসডিজি ২০৩০ বাস্তবায়নের রোডম্যাপ ইত্যাদি।
পরিদর্শনকালে এফবিসিসিআই সভাপতি মালদ্বীপের হাই কমিশনানের সাথে কোভিড-১৯ মহামারিতে দেশের শীর্ষ বাণিজ্য সংস্থা এফবিসিসিআই-এর উল্লেখযোগ্য অর্থনৈতিক ও সামাজিক কর্মকাণ্ড তুলে ধরেন। পাশাপাশি তারা পর্যটন ও সমুদ্র অর্থনীতির বিষয়ে উভয় দেশের দ্বিপাক্ষিক ভ্যালু চেইন উদ্যোগTM বিষয়ে আলোচনা করেন।
