National Defence College (NDC) and the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic cooperation framework between NDC and FBCCI in knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and joint advocacy to support national development. The MoU was signed on July 15, 2025 at the NDC office in Mirpur, Dhaka. 

Brig Gen Md Nishatul Islam Khan, ndc, afwc, psc, Office Secretary of NDC and Mr. Md. Alamgir, Secretary General of FBCCI signed the MoU on behalf of their organizations. 

Lieutenant General Mohammad Shaheenul Haque, OSP, BSP, ndc, hdmc, psc and Mr. Md. Hafizur Rahman, Administrator of FBCCI were present at the signing ceremony.

The MoU will facilitate cooperation and support each other in conducting meaningful research on key economic issues covering trade, industry as well as service sector, fostering a conducive environment for national development. It will also help to promote collaborative research initiatives aligned with national economic priorities by mutual consultation.

Head of International Affairs of FBCCI Mr. Md. Zafar Iqbal ndc, Adviser of FBCCI Safety Council Brig. Gen. (Rtd.) Abu Nayeem Md. Shahidullah, and other officials from NDC and FBCCI were also present at the signing ceremony.
