Seminar on Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100: Private Sector Involvement to achieve a Safe, Climate-Resilient and Prosperous Delta
To commemorate the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s contribution as the founder of the economic base of Bangladesh, FBCCI, in the month of August, 2022 organized five seminars.
The second Seminar Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100: Private Sector Involvement to achieve a Safe, Climate-Resilient and Prosperous Delta held on August 06, 2022 called for more engagement of the private sector to attain the goals of Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100.
FBCCI President Md. Jashim Uddin in his welcome speech called for direct involvement of the private sector in effective implementation of Delta Plan.
Hon’ble State Minister for Planning Dr. Shamsul Alam as the Chief Guest attended the seminar.
Former Additional Director General of Bangladesh Water Development Board Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman presented the keynote.
Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Water Resources Mr. Kabir Bin Anwar, Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture Mr. Md. Sayedul Islam, Secretary of the Environment, Forest and Climate Change Ministry Dr. Farhina Ahmed attended the seminar as Special Guests.
Amongst others, FBCCI Senior Vice President Mostofa Azad Chowdhury Babu, Vice President Mr. Salahuddin Alamgir, Mr. Md. Amin Helaly, Mr. Md. Habib Ullah Dawn, Directors, Chairmen of different standing committees, FBCCI secretary general Mohammad Mahfuzul Hoque were also present at the seminar.
