Webinar Titled “Bangabandhu’s Agricultural Thought: Future Challenges and Prospects” held
FBCCI organized a virtual seminar titled “Bangabandhu’s Agricultural Thought: Future Challenges and Prospects” ahead of 46th martyrdom anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day-2021 on August 12, 2021 at FBCCI.
FBCCI President Mr. Md. Jashim Uddin delivered the Welcome Speech while closing remarks were made by Mr. Mostofa Azad Chowdhury Babu, Senior Vice President of FBCCI.
Dr. Muhammad Abdur Razzaque, Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture was present as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Shamsul Alam, State Minister for Planning attended the seminar as the Special Guest.
Keynote Paper was presented by Dr. Atiur Rahman, Former Governor of Bangladesh Bank.
Speakers highlighted the various steps taken by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman for the development of the agriculture sector.
They also opined that, adequate funding and the use of the technology must be ensured to make the agriculture sector more dynamic and productive.
