The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FBCCI) and the Russia-Bangladesh Business Council jointly hosted the "Bangladesh-Russia Business Dialogue" on 5 November 2026 at the FBCCI office in Motijheel, Dhaka. Business leaders and delegates from both nations gathered to explore new avenues for deeper economic cooperation and trade.

The event was chaired by FBCCI Administrator Md. Fazlul Hoque and attended by H.E. Alexander Khozin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Bangladesh. Leading the Russian delegation, Mr. Ilya Shestakov identified key growth sectors for mutual collaboration, emphasizing high-potential opportunities in energy, IT, and agriculture.

To formalize their commitment, the FBCCI and the Russia-Bangladesh Business Council signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement aims to strengthen commercial cooperation, facilitate the exchange of trade information, and establish joint business forums between the two countries.
