A Bangladeshi delegation led by Mr. Md. Alamgir, Secretary General of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), met the Mozambique Chamber of Commerce (CCM) leaders at the CCM headquarter in Maputo, Mozambique, on December 03, 2025.

The Bangladesh delegation also included Senior Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce in Bangladesh Mr. Mohammad Hashib Sarker, Honorary Consul of Bangladesh in Mozambique Mr. Merali Yunus, and some other Bangladeshi businesses living in Mozambique.

Ms. Yolanda Fernandes, Vice President of the Mozambique Chamber of Commerce (CCM), led the Mozambique side during the discussion. Mr. Marcos Cuembelo, Acting Secretary General of the CCM, and other CCM members were also present at the meeting.

During the discussion, both parties discussed the potential for collaboration and cooperation in bilateral trade and investment between Bangladesh and Mozambique.
