A high-level business meeting was held between the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), aiming to expanding bilateral trade & investment between Bangladesh and India, on 18 August 2026 at the FBCCI office in Dhaka.

Chaired by FBCCI Administrator Md. Fazlul Hoque, the meeting was attended by Mr. Abdul Awal Mintoo, Honorable Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, as the Guest of Honor. The CII delegation was led by its Director General, Mr. Chandrajit Banerjee.

Former FBCCI President Mr. Md. Mahbubur Rahman, Mr. Mir Nasir Hossain, and Mr. Md. Jashim Uddin, along with DCCI President Mr. Taskeen Ahmed, former DCCI President Mr. Rizwan Rahman, BTMA President Mr. Showkat Aziz Russel, President of Rangpur Chamber of Commerce & Industry Mr. Emdadul Hossain, President of Rajshahi Chamber of Commerce & Industry Mr. Md. Hossain Ali, President of Barisal Chamber of Commerce & Industry Mr. Ebaidul Huq Chand, former FBCCI Vice-President Mr. Nizam Uddin Rajesh, former FBCCI Director Mr. Abdul Huq and Mr. Abdul Wahed, President of India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry Mr. Mashiur Rahman, President of Bangladesh Motorcycle Assemblers & Manufacturers Association Mr. Matiur Rahman, Director of Runner Group Mr. Mohammad Ali Deen, FBCCI Secretary General Mr. Md. Alamgir and other dignitaries were also attended the event.
