The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) organized a Doa Mahfil (prayer meeting) seeking eternal peace for the departed soul of former Prime Minister of Bangladesh and Chairperson of BNP, Begum Khaleda Zia.

The ceremony took place on January 14, 2026, at the FBCCI Auditorium. The event was attended by FBCCI Administrator Mr. Md. Abdur Rahim Khan, former president Mr. M.A. Kashem and Mr. Mir Nasir Hossain, along with former vice-presidents, former directors, members of the General Body, and leaders from various chambers and associations. FBCCI officers and staff were also in attendance.

During the program, business leaders reflected on the life and distinguished career of Begum Khaleda Zia, the first female Prime Minister of Bangladesh. Attendees offered collective prayers for her soul and expressed their deepest condolences to her bereaved family members.
