FBCCI President Mr. Mahbubul Alam, as the Chief Guest, inaugurated the “Bangladesh Franchise Show 2024” on January 20, 2024 morning at Hotel Amari in Dhaka. The show was organized by the Indian Small Business & Franchise Association (ISFA).

In his speech, Mr. Mahbubul Alam invited Indian entrepreneurs to invest more in Bangladesh. Mr. Mahbubul Alam said, FBCCI will provide all kinds of support to the investors from India if they want to invest in Bangladesh. He also invited Indian business houses to discuss prospective joint ventures with Bangladeshi entrepreneurs.

FBCCI President said, "India and Bangladesh have deep historical, economic, and geographical ties. In the last 50 years of our expanding relationship, it has crossed many new horizons following the exchange of visits between the two countries, establishing people-to-people links, and signing important agreements. The business interests of the two countries, with recent development of connectivity through rail, road, and river, make India our most important strategic partner for sustainable growth. Enhanced private sector engagements between our two countries can be a crucial step in developing closer relations between the businessmen of the two countries.

The expo has created a special opportunity for Indian franchisees and investors to exhibit their products and services to the Bangladeshi market and address business deals, contracts, and best practices in this regard," Mr. Mahbubul Alam added.

Chairman of the Indian Small Business & Franchise Association (ISFA) Mr. Gaurav Marya, FBCCI Vice President Ms. Shomi Kaiser, FBCCI Secretary General Mr. Md. Alamgir, Head of International Wing Ambassador Mosud Mannan were present among others.
