Bangladesh delegation and representatives of apex Brazil, the Brazilian government’s trade and investment promotion agency had an interactive roundtable discussion on 19 July 2022.
Mr. Md Jashim Uddin, President of FBCCI joined the high-profile delegation to Brazil led by Mr. Md. Shahriar Alam MP, Hon’ble State Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Highlighting the growing economic potential of Bangladesh, FBCCI President appraise the Brazilian side of the highly profitable investment opportunities in the country.
He stressed that the Brazilian businessmen should explore trade opportunities in the thriving sectors of Bangladesh which will in turn diversify our exports and mitigate the prevailing trade deficit between the two countries.
Representatives from Brazilian Commerce Ministry as well as from sectors like coffee, cattle, cotton, chocolate and poultry were present in the meeting.
