[3:40 pm, 08/05/2025] Washim Fbcci: FBCCI organized a seminar on "Women in Technology" in honour of the visiting Saudi Delegation on May 08, 2025 at the FBCCI Office in Motijheel, Dhaka.

Mr. Shish Haider Chowdhury ndc, Secretary of the Information and Communication Technology Division graced the seminar as the Chief Guest. Prof. Dr. Selwa Al-Hazzaa, CEO, SDM (Saudi Arabia) was present at the seminar as Guest of honour.

The seminar was emphasized on Women empowerment through expanding involvement in the field of technology and other professional areas in the country and abroad. 

The seminar was chaired by the Administrator of FBCCI Mr. Md. Hafizur Rahman. 

In the seminar, keynote paper was presented by Ms. Rubaba Dowla, Country Managing Director, ORACLE Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan.

Among others, Additional Secretary (Development) of the Energy and Mineral Resource Division Dr. Nurun Nahar Chowdhury ndc, Secretary General of FBCCI Mr. Md. Alamgir, Director of Mir Telecom Limited Ms. Mahreen Nasir, CEO & Co-Founder of ShareTrip.net Ms. Sadia Haque, Head of Sustainability, Marketing of RPAN-RFL-GROUP Ms. Sumaiya Tabassum Ahmed, Assistant Prof. of Bangladesh University of Health Sciences (BUHS) Mr. Md. Aminul Islam, Former Director of FBCCI and Member of FBCCI Sohayak Committee Mr. Giasuddin Chowdhury (Khokon), Mr. Abdul Haque, Mr. Belayet Hossain Bhuiyan, General Body Member Ms. Sayeda Akhter, Mr. Zakir Hossain, Women entrepreneurs, Business leaders, academician and other dignitaries were present at the seminar.
