Mr. Mahbubul Alam, the New President of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), the Apex trade organization of the country, paid a courtesy call on the Honorable Prime Minister H.E. Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday evening (August 29, 2023) at Ganabhaban in Dhaka.

HPM Sheikh Hasina extended warm congratulations to Mr. Mahbubul Alam on his appointment as the President of FBCCI for the term 2023-2025. The HPM appreciated the role of the private sector in the advancement of the nation and reaffirmed her commitment to fostering comprehensive cooperation with FBCCI to drive the growth of this sector.

Mr. Mahbubul Alam, in turn, lauded HPM H.E. Sheikh Hasina's visionary leadership and dynamic approach, which have played pivotal roles in achieving notable economic growth and eradicating poverty across Bangladesh. He expressed profound gratitude to the Prime Minister for her steadfast dedication to the nation's progress, contributing to the remarkable economic growth and prosperity witnessed over the past 14 years.

FBCCI President emphasized the shared vision of building a prosperous Bangladesh through the joint efforts of the government and the private sector. He highlighted the nation's determination to meterealize the vision of "Golden Bangla," a concept cherished by the nation's founding leader Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, which is now being pursued under the guidance of Prime Minister H.E. Sheikh Hasina.
