Dhaka, 15 August 2022: FBCCI President Mr. Md. Jashim Uddin urged the businessmen to take the country forward with the spirit of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He came up with the call at the Doa Mahfil offered on the occasion of Bangabandhu’s 47th martyrdom anniversary and National Mourning Day held at the FBCCI on Monday afternoon.
He said, Bangabandhu gave us a sovereign country. Therefore, businesses should be conducted with the commitment towards the development of the country. In light of the spirit of the liberation war, business should be run with honesty.

Earlier, FBCCI board led by the President Mr. Md. Jashim Uddin paid tribute by placing a flower wreath at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi 32.

FBCCI Senior Vice President Mr. Mostofa Azad Chowdhury Babu, Vice Presidents Mr. Md. Amin Helaly, Mr. Salahuddin Alamgir, Mr. Md. Habib Ullah Dawn, Directors and General Body members were present at the two events.

FBCCI also distributed food to three madrasas in the capital marking the National Mourning Day.
