The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), in collaboration with the Bangladesh Competition Commission (BCC), convened a high-level view exchange meeting on January 20, 2026, at the FBCCI office in Motijheel, Dhaka. The dialogue centered on the strategic implementation of the Competition Act, 2012, and the essential role of the Commission in fostering a transparent, vibrant, and balanced national economy.

The session was presided over by FBCCI Administrator Md. Abdur Rahim Khan.

Mr. AHM Ahsan, Chairperson (Secretary) of the Bangladesh Competition Commission, graced the event as the chief guest.

Members of the Bangladesh Competition Commission Dr. Md. Akhteruzzaman Talukder and Dr. Afroza Bilkis, Secretary General of the FBCCI Md. Alamgir, Head of International Affairs Wing Mr. Md. Zafor Iqbal ndc, former directors of FBCCI, business leaders, representatives from the Ministry of Commerce, the Directorate of National Consumers' Right Protection, Consumer’s Association of Bangladesh (CAB), attended the meeting.
