FBCCI conducted a three-day training program for building sector-wise safety trainers.

FBCCI, the apex trade body of the country, is determined to ensure the safety of all industries in the country. Regarding the purpose a three-day training program titled “Training of Trainers – Fire Safety, Rescue and First Aid” organized by FBCCI Safety Council which has suceessfully been closed on October 31, 2022

38 trainer-trainees from 12 sectors and 4 district chambers participated in this training program. Senior Vice President of FBCCI Mr. Mostafa Azad Chowdhury Babu handed over certificates to the participants on the concluding day.

Earlier, Mostafa Azad Chowdhury Babu said that FBCCI has undertaken sector and chamber based safety training program with the coordination of ILO to ensure maximum safety in all the factories and industries of the country. He urged the industry owners working together in this regard.

Maurice L. Brooks, ILO’s workplace safety expert thanked FBCCI Safety Council for arranging the fruitful training program with ensuring the factory-level participants. He said that it will be easier to build a safety culture in the factories industries in Bangladesh with the help of FBCCI. Investment is large or small, security is essential in all industrial plants, Maurice L. Brooks noted.

Among others, FBCCI Safety Council Adviser Brigadier General (retd.) Abu Naeem Md. Shahidullah, Standing Committee on Fire Safety and Security, Digester and Explosion Chairman Niaz Ali Chishti, Secretary General Mohammad Mahfuzul Hoque were present at the closing ceremony.
